Decentralized energy generation – interaction scheme
The single-pole interaction scheme shows the QU-protection within a wind farm and illustrates the precise protection of decentralized generation systems.
It illustrates the fast fault detection, the selective switching off of affected system parts and the safety control of the infeed into the medium-voltage grid.
Thanks to integrated protective functions – such as under-voltage and overvoltage protection, frequency monitoring, reactive power control and under-frequency load shedding – the NSE protection units guarantee stable and standard-compliant grid operation even under dynamic grid conditions.
