POWERSAVE: Compact and autonomous protection for your power distribution system

POWERSAVE is a compact and powerful IED (Intelligent Electronic Device) that provides a full range of protection, control and measurement functions for public power supply and industrial power distribution. With integrated power management, POWERSAVE warrants autonomous operation by combining CT power supply and capacitor energy blocks to allow trip; tripping of the circuit breaker directly from the protection unit without relying on a UPS. This makes POWERSAVE particularly reliable as blackout protection, independent of external supplies.

In addition to the 12 multicoloured, freely configurable LEDs, the device has two mechanical flag indicators (INIT and TRIP) that display the system status even in the event of failure of the auxiliary power supply.
