Overview of courses
AMS 001.11 – From generating to distributing electrical power
Participants will learn the key components of power supply based on the principles of power engineering. All important processes and equipment from different types of power plants and distribution networks through to the control stations will be explained.
Duration: 3 days
Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of electrical engineering
Costs: 2,160 CHF / participant
ASK 001.11 – Basics of protection technology in medium voltage
Participants will learn the structure and function of protection technology in medium voltage of up to 50 KV. They will become familiar with equipment requiring protection and the different operating statuses and be able to understand and implement the basic protection concepts themselves.
Duration: 3 days
Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of electrical engineering
Costs: 2,160 CHF / participant
AWS 010.11 – User training in SAVE technology RN
Participants will intensively learn the structure and function of SAVE technology for nondirectional protection (SAVE RN) in medium-voltage grids. Our engineers will show you tricks of the trade and you will leave with concrete setting options for your SAVE – RN delays.
Duration: 1 day
Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and protection technology
Costs: 950 CHF / participant
AWS 011.11 – User training in SAVE technology RD
Following on from the BASIC course, participants will learn advanced functions of SAVE technology for directional protection (SAVE RD) in medium-voltage grids. You will be provided with tricks of the trade and concrete setting options for SAVE RD delays to help you on your way in real-life scenarios. Aside from understanding the technology, you will learn to use the protection concepts on SAVE RD relays yourself.
Duration: 1 day
Prerequisite: AWS course010
costs: 950 CHF / participant
AWS 020.11 – User training for KOMBISAVE technology
This course follows on from AWS010 and 011, and delves deeper into the complex topics of KOMBISAVE use. In addition to an overview of protective functions, the course will focus particularly on control and automation options. The communication connection to superior control systems is an important topic.
Duration: 1 day
Prerequisite: AWS010 and AWS011
Costs: 950 CHF / participant
